Refund Policy

At English Planet, we value your commitment to learning and aim to provide a fair and transparent refund process. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which students may be eligible for a refund of prepaid tuition fees.

1. Non-Refundable Situations

No refunds will be issued in the following cases:

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled class.
No-shows, including:
- Students who fail to attend without notice.
- Students who join more than 10 minutes late (the tutor may log off).
Technical issues on the student's end (e.g., unstable internet, power outages, device malfunctions).
Inactivity or skipped sessions after purchase, unless notice is given before the 24-hour window.

2. Refundable Situations

Students may request a refund or rescheduling in the following cases:

Technical issues or disruptions on the tutor’s end (e.g., no internet, tutor fails to attend or is more than 5 minutes late).
Tutor cancellations made with insufficient notice and not promptly rescheduled.
Duplicate payments or overcharges.

3. Package Refunds

For prepaid packages (e.g., 5 or 10-session blocks), a partial refund may be issued for any unused sessions, provided the request is made at least 24 hours before the next scheduled session.
Sessions that were missed or cancelled late are not refundable.
A processing fee may apply to all package refunds.

4. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, please:

Email support@english-planet with the subject line “Refund Request”.
Include your full name, enrolled email address, payment reference, and reason for the request.
Refunds will be reviewed within 5–7 business days.

If approved, refunds will be returned via the original payment method within a reasonable time, depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Discretionary Refunds

English Planet reserves the right to issue partial or full refunds at its discretion in cases of extenuating circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies with documentation).

6. Policy Updates

We may revise this policy from time to time. All updates will be posted to our website, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of any changes.
